Welcome to Cairnlea Park Primary School. I am extremely honoured and privileged to lead this school as Principal.

Cairnlea Park Primary School was built in 2004. Our classrooms and facilities are attractive, modern and spacious, and student work is displayed around the school. We have large playgrounds featuring synthetic grass play areas. These outside areas continue to be maintained and developed, and now include a sensory garden and areas that can be used as outdoor classrooms.

Our mission at Cairnlea Park Primary School is to develop enthusiastic and lifelong learners striving to reach their full potential in an atmosphere of cooperation and respect.

Each child’s happiness, confidence, feelings of safety and belonging are fundamental priorities at Cairnlea Park Primary School, in conjunction with an emphasis on attaining the highest standards for each and every child.

All staff at Cairnlea Park Primary School are caring and committed professionals. We work together in teams to provide the best opportunities for our students. Staff demonstrate a commitment to shared responsibility for all students and show strong collegiate support.

Our dedicated teams work collectively to ensure students receive a well-planned program that aims to develop the whole child. Curriculum is planned and delivered at the point of need for students. Our school offers a broad and stimulating curriculum with Literacy and Numeracy being our priorities. Our Student Engagement programs assist students to be independent, responsible, resilient and contributing citizens to society.

Our students participate in a wide range of specialist subjects including Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Physical Education, Sport, LOTE (Italian), Digital Technologies and Library. We also encourage environmental sustainability through our paper recycling, water conservation and composting programs.

We have an excellent tutoring program. This provides support to students who need extra assistance, as well as offering opportunities for our high achievers to be further challenged in their learning. We encourage students to participate in NAPLAN testing and celebrate our consistently high results with pride.

Our students participate in a wide range of enrichment activities including camps, excursions, sports activities, instrumental music, performing arts concerts and many incursions that support learning and well-being.

Cairnlea Park Primary School has developed strong links with the community. The school has a very active and supportive School Council and Fund Raising Committee. Members of our school community are active in classrooms and other school events.

The Cairnlea Community Hub is also located on the school site. It houses a kindergarten and other community services provided by Brimbank Council.
