Developments in computer and digital technologies have changed the way that today’s students communicate, connect, work and learn.
Cairnlea Park PS recognises that digital technologies provide rich opportunities to support student learning and development in a range of ways. Through increased access to digital technologies, students can benefit from enhanced learning that is interactive, collaborative, personalised and engaging. The effective use of digital technologies also enables personalised learning tailored to students' particular needs and interests, and transforms assessment, reporting and feedback to drive new forms of collaboration and communication.
Our vision for the use of digital technologies at CPPS is:
To support students to develop 21st century skills as they work with other students and teachers to create, share, collaborate, communicate and problem-solve. Students and teachers are encouraged and supported to become lifelong learners and innovative and confident users of ICT in an ever-changing digital world.
