* The first day of Term 1 is a student-free day in all government schools to allow for appropriate planning to prepare for the new school year.
Schools have a further three student-free days for professional development, for school planning and administration, for curriculum development, and for student assessment and reporting purposes.
These three student-free days will be determined by the school and communicated to the community.
