Term 1: 28 January (teachers start)* to 4 April
                A curriculum day (no students at school) has been scheduled for January 29, so students will start on 30 January
Term 2: 22 April to 4 July
Term 3: 21 July to 19 September
Term 4: 6 October to 19 December

 

2026

 

Term 1: 27 January (teachers start)* to 2 April
                   In addition to the student-free day on 27 Jan, a curriculum day (no students at school) is scheduled for 28 Jan.

                   Y1 - Y6 students will start on 29 January.

                   Prep Testing & Planning = 29 Jan - 4 Feb
                   Prep Classes commence on 5 Feb


Term 2: 20 April to 26 June
Term 3: 13 July to 18 September
Term 4: 5 October to 18 December

 

 

* The first day of Term 1 is a student-free day in all government schools to allow for appropriate planning to prepare for the new school year.

 

Schools have a further three student-free days for professional development, for school planning and administration, for curriculum development, and for student assessment and reporting purposes.

 

These three student-free days will be determined by the school and communicated to the community.
