When your child is sick or not at school you need to provide a reason why your child is not attending via the Compass app or by phoning the office. If a child is absent from school, they are not learning and can easily start to fall behind in their learning.

If we have no reason why your child is not at school, it will be listed as an unauthorised absence. This information is shared with DET.

It is important that students attend school each day and arrive on time as
being late each day can reduce days of learning throughout the year.
