From the Principal

Welcome to Cairnlea Park Primary School.  Our school offers a broad and stimulating curriculum with Literacy and Numeracy being our curriculum priorities.  Our Student Engagement programs assist students to be independent, responsible, resilient and contributing citizens to society.

Prep enrolments for 2024 open in Term 2 2023. Further information is available in our sections about Enrolments and about School Tours.

Our students participate in a wide range of specialist subjects including Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Physical Education, Sport, LOTE (Italian) and Library. We also encourage environmental sustainability through our paper recycling and water conservation programs. All classrooms are well equipped with technology to support student learning.

Cairnlea Park has pride in our continually improving and stimulating environment, our high academic standards and our student engagement programs. Built in 2004, our classrooms and facilities are attractive, modern and spacious and student work is displayed around the school. We have synthetic grass areas for students to play on, which we extend as we develop our grounds.  Our oval has been recently redeveloped and has its own rainwater supply to irrigate it.

Our students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of enrichment activities including camps, excursions, sports activities, instrumental music, performing arts concerts and many incursions held within the school.

Cairnlea Park Primary School has developed strong links with the community. The school has a very active and supportive School Council, Fund Raising Committee and members of our school community are active in classrooms and other school events.

The staff at Cairnlea Park Primary School are dedicated, hard working and enthusiastic. They work together in teams to provide the best opportunities for our students. Staff demonstrate a commitment to shared responsibility for all students and show strong collegiate support. We invite you to visit the school to experience it for yourself.

We update our website regularly, so please keep in touch with what we are doing by checking for updates.

The Cairnlea Community Hub is also on the school site.  It houses a kindergarten and other community services provided by Brimbank Council.
