From Wednesday 3rd November

From Wednesday 3rd November

• Parents are now permitted to enter the school grounds and drop their children at their classroom door.
• Parents are not to enter the classrooms.
• Last year we saw our student’s independence develop in such a positive way as they arrived and left the school grounds self-sufficiently and we would like to continue to build on this. So, if you can continue to drop and collect your children at the gate, we encourage you to do so.
• Parents and visitors who enter our school buildings for a period of 10 minutes or longer must enter via the main office, sign in or register using the QR code, must be fully vaccinated and wearing a face mask.
• Staff and students who are unwell must stay home and any visitors displaying COVID-19 symptoms, must not enter the school grounds. Students who develop any of these symptoms throughout the day, will need to be collected from school.
• At the end of the day, the gates will be locked at 3.30pm, therefore students and parents will need to leave the school grounds by this time.
• If your child is ill or is feeling unwell, they must not attend school. They must remain home and seek medical advice.
• Students who develop any COVID symptoms throughout the day, will need to be collected from school. The symptoms to watch out for are fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath and loss or change in sense of smell or taste. It is important that any student who becomes unwell with COVID-19 symptoms while at school gets tested.
• Students who have COVID-19 like symptoms will need to be tested and present a negative result before returning to school.
• Hand hygiene remains one of the critical measures to reduce coronavirus (COVID-19) transmission.
• Sanitised hand wipes, soap and hand sanitiser is available for all staff and students to use throughout the day.
• We encourage students to continue to bring their individual water bottles.
