Cairnlea Park PS is introducing Tiqbiz to electronically distribute the latest news and information.
Tiqbiz is available for Windows and Apple Mac computers (download from www.tiqbiz.com); as well as smartphones and tablets (download from your app store).
Once you have downloaded Tiqbiz to your phone, tablet or computer (or all of them), open Tiqbiz to register, find our school, then select the notifications that apply to you by clicking on the grey ticks. Relevant newsletters, messages, notices and calendar events will automatically be available in your Tiqbiz Inbox.

Over the past few years the community of Cairnlea Park Primary School has been outstandingly generous in the donation of food for the Salvation Army Christmas Food Drive. The JSC is again organising the collection of non-perishable food and beverages this year for distribution to those in need in the local area.
We are seeking donations from each school family of items of tinned food, treats or extras for Christmas (bonbons, decorations, puddings etc.) so that once again we can really show our children that we live our first school rule, ‘be kind’. Please just send any donations along to school with your child, where they will be collected in the classroom.
Our sincere thanks to all at this busy time of year.
If you haven’t yet enrolled your Prep child for 2015 can you please do so as soon as possible. Our 2015 Prep Transition program has only two sessions left on 27th November and 9th December. If you haven’t enrolled yet please contact the office.
When enrolling, parents are required to supply the following information:
- Proof of age (birth certificate or passport)
- Immunisation certificate
Friday 7th November is our annual Family Fun Day, beginning at 12 noon and finishing at 3:00pm. All family members, friends and the wider Cairnlea community are welcome to participate in our major fundraiser for the school year.
The Canteen is closed for lunch orders and sales on Family Fun Day.
There will be no access to rooms for early dismissal. All rooms will remain locked for the duration of the fun day as a security measure.
During the Fun Day the school will only be accessible through the front gate, which will be supervised by school staff members. All other gates will remain locked until 3.20pm. If you wish to take your children home early, please let their class teacher know. Students will only be permitted to leave school early if they are accompanied by their parent or guardian.
A reminder from the canteen that some menu items are not available this term. Please refer to the canteen list sent home with the last newsletter last term. More copies are available from the office.
